WHO's Response
WHO is present in every country, working every day to protect people's health — before crises strike, during emergencies and long after the world moves on. From deploying mobile clinics to communities with no other access to care, to running vaccination campaigns in active conflict zones, to training health workers in the most fragile settings on earth — WHO's response is permanent, not episodic.
In 2025, WHO responded to 50 emergencies across 82 countries, reaching more than 30 million people. When the Myanmar earthquake struck, WHO had teams on the ground within 24 hours. When polio returned to Gaza after 25 years, WHO vaccinated 600,000 children. When maternal care collapsed in Afghanistan, WHO deployed female health workers to reach the women no one else could reach.
This is what your donation funds — not a reaction to a headline, but a permanent commitment to health for all.
